Kite Demo Day - Sunday October 6th

24 degrees and 20 knots forecast for this Sunday - October 6th. Where else would you rather be? Demo the full range of 2014 Cabrinha Kites and Boards.

Where: Kite Beach, Brighton

When: 12 noon - 5 pm.

Saturday Morning SUP Demos - from this weekend onwards

Saturday morning SUP demos start this weekend!

This weekend only we are also demoing ex-demo and 2nd hand boards. Don't miss this amazing opportunity to test boards of every shape and size!

Every Saturday onwards we will be down the bottom of Jetty Rd, Sandringham next to the SHQ Kiosk. Demos start at 8.30am and finish at 11am.

What happens when Bear Grylls designs a SUP

Coreban has teamed up with legendary adventurer Bear Grylls to produce a new line of SUP boards. Tailored to Bear's needs in the wilderness, turns out you can convert your SUP into a kayak and even pitch a tent on board and have a nap!!

SHQ in Mauritius - the video!

All of the SHQ & Peninsula Kiteboarding crew had a great time hanging out in Mauritius, relaxing on the beach, sipping cocktails and going kiting and windsurfing!

Le Morne is an epic spot with conditions to suit any level of rider from beginners up to world champs with flat water, small waves, big waves, light wind mornings for surfing & SUPing and then the trades kick in for kiting and windsurfing in the arvo - what else could you ask for?

The video features action from SHQ staff - Fletch, Huddo & Al. SHQ and Peninsula Kiteboarding Guests Nick, Rob & Georgia and a special guest appearance from KSP World Champ and Cabrinha Team Rider Keahi De Aboitiz.

Hopefully it gives you an idea of all things you can get up to in Mauritius and how much fun we had! Maybe we will have to go back next year ;)

Wavesailing Clinic/Demo Day coming up

With summer on the way now is the perfect time to get a head start on your wavesailing!

Over September and October we are going to run a casual clinic and demo day on the next weekend with a suitable forecast. The location is to be confirmed depending on the weather but is likely to be at Sandy Point which is a great place for all levels. 1 day only - everyone is welcome!

We've got the 2014 sails and boards to try - demo gear from Neil Pryde, JP, Gaastra, Tabou, K4 Fins and Simmer will be available and we will have our staff and team riders down there to give you plenty of tips to start tearing the waves up!
